September’s Blog

What a great start to the year! We have chosen our new Digital Leaders and they are already hard at work learning new skills and helping their class mates if needed.

Congratulations to:

Year 6 – Shelby and Alex

Year 5 – Eesha and Caitlin

Year 4 – Rhys and Kamron

Year 3 – Angharad and Riley

Here we see Riley and Angharad helping their class mates with databases – a skill we picked up in the first meeting. What amazing work! Bendegedig.

Screen Shot 2017-10-04 at 5.26.28 PMWe have also began looking at spreadsheets and how we can collaborate, to all work on the same spreadsheet at once! If you would like any advice on these or any other I.C.T skills – please see our Digital Leaders. You will spot them wearing their cool, new, white badges.

May’s Blog

Congratulations to Year 5 who have won the Digital Media award at the Show Racism the Red Card awards! This is a great prize to win and the second year in a row the school have won the award! The class will be treated to watch Carmarthen F.C as part of their prize next season. This is an ICT award, and they used iMovie and the Green Screen to put their project together.

Also, a massive well done to the pupils in Year 2 who have become published writers in a poetry book! We are so proud of them. It is amazing to have writers in the school that are appearing in a book!
